Genrich  Kenne ... Realism still forms his paintings today, but he is not  conformist. Architectural motives dominate, his lighting is masterly.  Four drawings of nudes are put on brown paper in perfect strokes.

Heinrich Kenne ... for him, the principles of architecture, construction, but also the effects of shapes, of cubes in light and shadow determine his paintings. While  mastering the rules of perspective, he does not want realistic pictures, but creates new dimensions. He transforms cityscapes according to his  feelings, alienates, shows new possibilities for seeing. His colors are often melancholic and mysterious.
